Admissions Procedure
As an independent school of choice we attract students and families that support the expressed mission, values, and philosophy of the school. The following procedure helps to determine a student’s readiness and suitability for the programs offered by IPS:
- Parents complete the admissions application in full.
- Parents meet with the Head of School.
- Student applicant visits IPS to get a sense of the learning environment offered here.
- Student applicant meets with the Head of School.
- Student applicants are assessed at the school during one of three scheduled small group testing sessions.
- Outcome letter from Head of school: unqualified acceptance; qualified acceptance (some learning support required); wait-list, or not yet ready to meet the demands of the learning culture provided.
- Parents pay a non-refundable $400 deposit applied toward tuition to guarantee student’s place.
