Partnerships

IPS establishes partnerships with other mission-driven organizations that value and support quality educational opportunities that align closely with our school’s mission.

In the 2008-2009 school year we worked with the Vancouver Aquarium and sent our students to AquaSchool, an experientially rich program that extended regular classroom learning and Ministry prescribed learning outcomes by letting students work directly with marine biologists and other environmental scientists employed by the aquarium.

Students also worked with Peter Rawsthorne and the Commonwealth of Learning to create open educational resources (OER) in WikiEducator as part of their contribution to the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals.
