Learning Assistance

Some students at IPS require additional learning support to meet the demands of the middle years program. These students work collaboratively with their teachers and our learning support resource coordinator to develop and improve their study, time management, and organizational skills.

Students presenting with significant learning challenges in some subject areas may have their core academic program modified. All students receiving learning assistance support will have Individual Education Plans (IEPs) written by the coordinator to help teachers provide the best educational support for students.
