IPS truly making a difference…

Andrea Bastin (Bowen Shares) was overwhelmed when we told her we have managed to raise over $2,000 so far for water and aid in for the Royal Seed Home orphanage in Kesoa, Ghana. Andrea visited IPS this morning to give us an update on how our fund raising initiatives have been helping our goals, and reported the wonderful news that because of our involvement and help so far, a corporate sponsor stepped in and decided, not only to match our contribution, but to add whatever else necessary to begin drilling for the water well, which is now underway! Because of IPS students, 172 children at this orphanage will soon have access to fresh water. Additionally, the orphanage will now be granted status as a school because of the work IPS students and kids from the orphanage have been doing together. This means that the boys and girls will no longer be sent back onto the streets when they reach adolescence. This has impacted these children’s lives to an incredible extent and opened up countless doors of opportunity. Our kids are overwhelmed with joy at the reality that we can truly learn to make a difference…
